We specialize in University of Akron student housing – off campus. Although we are not an affiliate of the University of Akron, most of our rental properties are located within 1 mile of the University of Akron.
University of Akron Student Housing – Off Campus
With several rental properties available for off-campus student housing, there’s sure to be a property that meets your needs. Unlike other property management companies, we offer:
12-month separate leases. That means that you can rent a room in one of our off-campus student properties independently.
Separate leases means separate rent obligations. Unlike multi-bedroom apartments, no more tracking down roommates for their share of the rent when leasing a house with four or more bedrooms.
Emergency Maintenance. McKown Properties stands behind emergency maintenance on all their properties. 330-745-8545
Utilities included in many properties. Several of our off-campus student housing properties offer utilities included in the rent.
Close proximity to the University of Akron. Nearly all our properties are a short walk from campus.
2, 3, 4, or 5-bedroom rentals. McKown Properties can accommodate up to five people wanting to share a rental property. Because the leases are separate on all rentals with four or more bedrooms, friendships don’t suffer from “rent collection” among each other.
Off-street parking at many properties. ALL of our off-campus student housing properties offer driveways and off-street parking.
